I just needed to post this and let everyone know that I am blessed to be surrounded by a toupe full of giving people in Alchemy. I got a call on Friday night after the show about the father of my children had killed himself. I broke down and was picked up by my troupe and they made the decision to leave that night to get me home. We left at 1am and drove for 10 hours. They were all scheduled for classes the rest of the weekend and had a ticket for Saturdays show, but did not see it as an inconvience. My heart was broken , but at the same time full of love for the girls that I dance with. They gave up so much to give me what I needed. Thank you so much the the girls in Alchemy Mari, Jeannie, Brandi and Kristin and to Vany and Papi for being there for me. I love you guys and just want everyone to know what a special and giving group of girls that I dance with. We are taking it one day at a time, but just knowing you guys are there comforts me.
