This was such a great workshop. And, Romka are the sweetest ladies.

The opinions of those who do not understand the content are insignificant. As an avid sword dancer... I appreciated both their well taught workshop and their dramatic performance. Romka is innovative and beautiful. It takes a real grasp of the mechanics of dance and coordination of partnership to be able to create what they do from nothingness and present it in an amazingly aesthetic way. I appreciate every aspect of what they do.

So I haven t been able to follow up on the Post Spirit messages till now. I’m reading the Romka post and I see Romka Sucks! and my rage wells up just as it had on Friday nights performance. Had I had seen the person that had shout out such negativity in front of me I would have hemmed up that mother fucker. My OUT ON BOND shirt is not a prop, several assault charges (years ago) earned me that tee. Then I see that Ocean had restated Romka Sucks! and I was heated again. I had gone out and got that prick Lunch on Saturday and he seemed like a nice guy. Now I know that in this business there are many rivalries, schisms and bad blood between people. You should still behave civilly, basically if you don’t have some thing nice to say to some one be at least polite and shut the fuck up. Drama and bitchyness are the darker side of this art form.

So as I read on I see it is all a joke. Fuck me!. I hadn’t realized that some belly dancers have a dark sense of humor and camaraderie as I do. As my friends and I would flick lit cigarette buds at one another trying to aim at our face and calling each other “punk bitch fagget” as a greeting to one another. But if a stranger stepped out of line with any one in the crew, we would come down on them hard. So it’s good to see that there is love in this hazing. So I say this with love, “You all don’t suck, you fucken Gargle and then swallow!”. It’s good to see that Im not the only normal person out their.
